This place is great, I don’t know why it doesn’t have higher reviews. Possibly it closed and reopened again as the sign is different on the photos. We came here twice, the first time we got guacamole which was made fresh at our table. The second time, we got Mexican stone bowl dish, which was delicious. I feel like this is a lot more authentic Mexican food than you get at a lot of the places in Playa del Carmen, but the sign doesn’t suggest that when you walk past - we discovered it by accident. The staff are super friendly, proper characters! Highly recommended.

Really shocked to see this place has such low ratings. We stumbled upon it and hesitant since it wasn't busy and it's upstairs off the street. But, Wow! We were impressed. I had the grilled chicken and my friend had coconut shrimp. Both entrees were the best we had eaten in Playa. Also had margaritas which we asked for to be strong and they obliged. Prices were very fair and I took a picture of the menu to be sure I knew where to eat on my next visit to Playa Del Carmen.

Our group had an amazing time! Such a fun restaurant, with great decor, atmosphere and open air dining. Food was 10/10 great and the mango margarita was delicious (i had 3!). Washrooms were clean and staff especially Jorge were so welcoming and provided outstanding service! Highly recommend for a drink and or a bite if you are shopping fifth avenue.

We loved this clozy place. Everyone was friendly, and clean. The table side guacamole was the amazing. I had the chicken tacos. They were just the best thing on the strip. If you are around here. Check it out.

The best service on the strip. The best waiter in the world Jorge and our uncle Manual Rodriguez. The whole fried fish was fantastic.

Excellent service, best food in playa del carmen. If you coming, you must visit it, authentic mexican food. Jorge is the best waitress i've met, he's very charismatic and enthusiastic. Food is so tasty and delicious, price is the cheapest!!! Thanks, i will be there everytime i come to playa.
